Management System ) for Singapore, Malaysia and China. TDLIMS
is designed and developed by Technidata SAS, a French company based
in Grenoble, France. There are more than 700 systems operating worldwide.
Information is the laboratory's chief commodity. The laboratory business is an
Information Business. However paper work, fragmented records, and error-prone
manually key in delivery processes are all too likely to stand in the way of
quality care. These problems can rob patients of the careful attention they need.
Our objective is to provide better patient care through operating efficiently and
automate as much as possible the clinical laboratory processes to produce quality
result. Quality in this sense comprises several elements such as,
- the security factor, right patient--sample--result match,
- the accuracy of the result, which relates more to analytical process capabilities,
- the range and detail of the acceptance criteria used to report results,
- the speed of availability to the requester/patient to facilitate decisions and treatment,
- the production cost of generating the result with optimal use of resources and personnel.
Our solution focus on giving the patients better care by
- automating direct data acquisition from clinical analysers,
- implement workflow according to the testing protocols,
- manage and report the integrity of the total testing process, including pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical components to reduce errors, and
- build-in rule and knowledge base solution to focus the quality time on those in need.
EGIS has successfully implemented TDLIMs in public and private hospitals and laboratories in Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam.

and developed by MAK-SYSTEM, a French company based in Paris, France.
In addition, PROGESA - Donor & Patient Blood Bank and Blood Transfusion Service
integrated software have received the FDA 510(k) clearance.
MAK-SYSTEM has already successfully computerized Blood Banks and Transfusion services
Worldwide (in 26 countries) including Europe, Australia, South Africa, Israel and such
organizations in North America such as Blood System Inc., New York Blood Center, Florida
Blood Services, Canadian Blood Services and HemaQuebec. The implementation and support has
been successfully manage from a network of MAK-SYSTEM offices and distributors from all
over the world. This network is able to work with the different time zones and able to
handle projects in many different languages.
The functionalities are continuously updated to meet the needs of eProgesa international
users (more than 650 installations worldwide of which 16 are National implementations)
with collection volumes ranging from 2,500 to 1,200,000 donations per year on a single configuration.
ePROGESA is a modular software solution with both donor and patient related functionality
within the same package. This permits full traceability of blood components to be
available within a single system. ePROGESA is a structured software solution that can
be configured to the blood bank facility.
It enables the diverse operational requirements of the many blood centers and
hospital blood banks to be met through the use of parameter switches to activate
or deactivate specific areas of the software.
It is an open application software, which utilizes parameters on four levels:
- Security Parameters - used to control access to the system
- Functional parameters - used to activate specific functionality
- Dictionaries - used to define the different data elements such as test codes,
results, manufacturing rules
- Decision Tables - used to define the relevant rules for the various disciplines
such as results correlation tables, distribution correlations, electronic cross match
rules. This permits full repeat test management control to be maintained by ePROGESA.
Through the use of these parameters the customer is able to control and update the major
functional areas of the software with no requirement to update the program source code.
Any modification made to the parameters can be traced and the content of the various
parameters versions used in the software can be retrieved at any time.

bar code reader for the Asia Pacific Region. Axiome is a Swiss company
which specialises in automatic data entry and processing. Axiome
readers provide a rational, fast and economic solution to all data
input problems by eliminating tedious typing tasks, accelerating
data entry and eradicating any risk of mistakes.
Axiome has a whole range of stationary or portable OMR (optical
mark reading), OCR (optical recognition) and bar code readers, either
with centralised data entry or at each workstation, with or without
paper support. These readers meet the requirements of any organization.
Axiome brand of Optical Mark Reader can be used for the following
